on spiders

ang dami talagang malalaking gagamba ngayon dito sa bahay. hindi ko alam kung bakit sila naglalabasan ngayon. and with that i have 2 lines to share...

beej: shucks! may gagamba na naman! (pointing to my dad the location of the spider) bakit ba naglalabasan sila ngayon?
dad: baka kasi gagamba-day ngayon. (then he gave out a sheepish smile.)

beej: so can this be considered arachnophobia?
benj: oo. you have fear of spiders e.
beej: but phobia means irrational fear.
benj: isn't that irrational?
beej: oo nga ano. but not to all the spiders. hindi ako takot doon sa small ones.
benj: then i guess it's call selective arachnophobia. hehe!
